Coffee Roaster – Hearthware

Probably the most asked question in the specialty coffe industry, with just as many opinions as who has the best beans. An airtight
container is your best bet (like a mason jar). Storing coffe in the refrigerator is OK, the freezer not so OK (too much moisture in a freezer).
The first and foremost killer of coffee flavor is oxygen so, keep your container sealed and cool – your coffee should be just fine.

How Does it work? – A heated stream of air moves upward through the coffee beans. The air both roasts and, in conjunction
with the patened vane structure, mixes the beans for an even roast. The air stream carries the chaff (small pieces of parchment
flaked away from the green bean) away from the roasted beans and moves it upward into the collector surrounding the top neck of the
roasting pot. The final 3 minutes of the roasting cycle is a special cool down mode which cools both the beans and the roaster to a safe
and comfortable temperature.

Benefits:

  • Roasts in less than 15 minutes
  • Roasts enough for a full pot (12 cups) of coffee
  • Roasts any green bean including decaffeinated
  • Roasts to any desired level (light cinnamon to dark french and espresso roasts)
  • Easy – set the master control to the desired level of the roast, the coffee is automatically roasted and cooled
  • Creative – create you own blends and add your own flavoring
  • Entertaining – perfect for a quiet evening at home or something special for your guests
  • Makes a perfect gift that will be appreciated for years to come
